Thursday, October 16, 2003
DISCOVERY BAY, Jamaica: Guyana's Red Stripe squad will go head to head with unbeaten Jamaica in the first semi final of the 2003 Red Stripe Bowl regional one-day cricket competition, which opens today at the Kaiser Ground in Jamaica.

Jamaica practised at the Test venue Sabina Park while on Tuesday Guyana coach, Mr. Albert Smith, was quoted as saying his team is ready for Jamaica while Manager for the host squad, Mr. Lindel Wright, said that he is satisfied with his team's performance so far although he feels that the batsmen should have scored more runs.
