PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad: Trinidad's twentieth kidnapped victim was released yesterday afternoon by kidnappers, unhurt in a village in Tobago, AP quoted police in the twin-island as saying last night.
Mr. David Bhulawan, 20, was reportedly dropped off in the village of Roxborough, two days after he was kidnapped, though no ransom was paid.
His abductors had apparently called his parents on Tuesday and demanded a TT$200,000 ransom. It was unclear why he was released without the money being paid or why he was kidnapped at all.
