Jamaica trash Canada but Guyana lose to Barbados in
Red Stripe Bowl

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica: The Jamaican Red Stripe squad trashed Canada yesterday in their Zone A
match at the Port Esquivel ground. Canada compiled 196 for seven wickets from 50 overs but the Jamaica
team powered to 198 for four in 29 overs with a blistering 71 not out from Ricardo Powell, CMC reports indicate.
In Antigua, Guyana lost to Barbados in their Zone B match at the Antigua Recreation Ground. Barbados, coming back from their recent loss, scored a massive 194 for two from 34.4 overs in reply to Guyana's 191 for nine from their 50 overs.
Today, Trinidad & Tobago face the Windwards in Jamaica, while
champions, Leewards face UWI in Antigua.
