
Jamaica Tourist Board shops for advertising agency

NEW YORK, New York: Tomorrow is the deadline for those advertising agencies wishing to bid for The Jamaica Tourist Board's $10 million ad campaign.
Ad Week is reporting that tourist board officials are asking agencies to send credentials to its Kingston, Jamaica, offices by tomorrow, Wednesday 8th October.
The Board, according to Ad Week, is also requesting that agencies provide managed response to changing market conditions caused by crisis such as war and natural disasters. The board will issue formal requests for proposals to selected agencies following the credentials deadline.
Jamaica Tourist Board spent nearly $10 million on ads in 2002, and nearly $5 million from January through June of 2003, according to TNS Media
