
Jamaica's PM to address Caribbean American today

BROOKLYN, New York: Prime Minister of Jamaica and Chairman of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government, Mr. P.J. Patterson, will be the featured speaker at the CARICOM Distinguished Lecture Series set for today at Brooklyn's Medgar Evers College of CUNY, 1650 Bedford Avenue. The forum will begin at 6 p.m. in the Founders Auditorium.
According to a recently released statement, the lecture is being held in commemoration of the Thirtieth 30th Anniversary of the Caribbean Community.
The CARICOM Distinguished Lecture Series began in February 2003 in Trinidad and Tobago with a featured address that was delivered by the Honorable Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
